A Parsnip’s Interment Demo Is Available! ( LINK )
This is a short demo of an exploration and light puzzle game I’ve been working on-and-off on for a long long time. It’s a free RPGMAKER 2K3 game and shouldn’t take too long to play through. If you find any bugs please tell me! I’ll take all the input I can get.
Feel free to dig around in the files. There are areas in the game that I haven’t made available as they are not finished, but if you want to look at them using the RPGMAKER 2K3 game maker I am not going to stop you. There are content warnings in the game description on the site.

Hi, I’m Medb, a Trans fem Numunu (comanche), begging for some help: i have been stuck for the past few years in a rather racist and queerphobic part of massachusetts, which has taken a major toll on my mental and physical health. Following my latest Scare, this time a landlord trying to evict me over misunderstandings, I’ve decided i want out enough to ask.
The goal is to get to New Mexico, Sanctuary state and located within my actual homeland too, as a bonus. that way i can get myself, well, well set-up and not need a reset again.

“intrusive thought” gets thrown around by assholes talking about putting strainers on their heads or stepping on a leaf who in the next sentence will say “if your thoughts are about actually hurting people they should put you in a psych ward”. compulsions and rituals get seen as proof you’re “crazy”. ocd insight CAN be delusional, even. pocd and sexual ocd is especially demonized, though even something as “harmless” (to others. not *us*) as contamination OCD is still mocked, belittled, and seen as a sign something is fundamentally wrong with you. I have seen people twice my age advocate for violence against anyone who thinks the way I’ve been forced by my mental illness to think since i was 6, maybe 7 years old.
OCD is not destigmatized.

Hello. My name is Knives and my life is a bad joke. Sorry this post is a little long.
I’m an autistic, mentally ill lesbian who is currently unemployed and unable to work full time. I live together with my father and our dog.
Today (17.07.2023) our car broke down. While my dad doesn’t want to tell me how much repairing will cost, there are other expenses we’ll need to start covering soon and we NEED help.
I’m currently taking tutoring lessons for my exam retake next month. The guy charges 80pln per hour and we’re planning on doing 30 hours, which will cost us 2400pln (roughly 630USD).
I am also currently paying back for my laptop I bought through an installment purchase and need to pay around 200pln (50USD) monthly for it.
We also need to feed out dog, who is a staffie breed and is allergic to a lot of foods, so his feeding costs us around a 100pln (25USD) monthly too.

so SAG-AFTRA finally released some official guidance for fans, viewers, creators/influencers, critics, and more during the strike. here’s what you need to know:
- if you see a publication/news source/journalist talking about a piece of struck work, that’s ok. they’re allowed to do that.
2. they’re asking regular viewers and fans to DONATE TO STRIKE FUNDS, SHOW UP TO PICKETS IF YOU CAN, and please do NOT boycott streaming services or movies in theaters.
3. influencers, content creators, cosplayers, and anything in between is still a bit of a grey area, but they’re asking people to use their best judgement. “organically” means UNPAID promo (like an invite to a premiere without being paid, being sent a publicity box, letting the company’s social media post a photo of you in cosplay, etc).
obviously this doesn’t answer every question, and isn’t hard and fast rules for fanworks, but it can at least inform how you personally choose to move forward when posting online and moving publically. i hope this helps!

Hey, PSA for my fellow disabled people: UPS workers are trying to negotiate a new contract, and it looks like it’s leading to a strike soon. Now, I am absolutely all for this, they need safe working conditions and should strike if need be, but for us?
Please contact your doctors and make sure you’re prepared in any way possible. This will affect many of you, whether that’s through med deliveries, oxygen tanks, or other one-use supplies. If you live in America, try to get in contact with an insurance case worker for resources and advice if you’re able.
Stay safe, and hope that the precaution isn’t necessary.
One of my meds has to be delivered overnight UPS premiere gold refrigerated… time to call up the company and get this sorted.
I fully support the strike, because I’ve been following the development and the conditions they work under are truly egregious (I don’t know why OSHA hasn’t cracked down honestly), but I’ve also literally seen the drivers about to collapse in the heat. But it makes me furious how fragile our medical supply system is that one strike like this could literally be putting so many people in grave danger. That’s on the medical supply and shipping companies, not the UPS workers OR the medical providers.

really not a fan of entire (mostly black) music genres being compressed and confined to being seen as “video game” music to be totally honest
acid jazz isn’t acid jazz anymore, it’s persona 5 music. new jack swing is just sonic cd music. jungle is the latest victim of this and is being relabeled as “ps1/n64” music even when the genre exists well beyond the confines of a couple dozen games from that period. and it sucks because the composers/artists who worked on these songs obviously adore those genres and where they come from. it’s not their fault. but it just makes me sad seeing these genres effectively being whitewashed by people with zero interest in learning about their origins
